Company Settings
Company settings control your organization’s workspace in IntuitivePM. This includes your company profile, member management, domain configuration, and plan limits. Only users with the admin or owner role can modify company settings.
Accessing Company Settings
- Click Settings in the left sidebar.
- Select Company from the settings menu.
Company Profile
Company Name
Your company name is displayed throughout IntuitivePM — in the sidebar, on project cards, in email notifications, and in Virtual Colleague messages. To update it:
- Navigate to Settings > Company > General.
- Edit the Company Name field.
- Click Save Changes.
Company Slug
The slug is a URL-friendly identifier for your company (e.g., acme-corp). It is generated automatically from your company name when the workspace is created. The slug must be unique across all IntuitivePM workspaces.
Plan and Limits
Your company’s plan determines resource limits:
| Plan Feature | Description |
|---|---|
| Max Users | Maximum number of members in your workspace |
| Max Projects | Maximum number of active projects |
| AI Credits | Monthly allocation of AI credits for Virtual Colleagues and AI features |
View your current usage and limits in Settings > Company > General. The company overview shows your current member count, team count, and project count.
Member Management
Viewing Members
The company overview shows the total number of members. Each member has a role that determines their permissions:
| Role | Permissions |
|---|---|
| Owner | Full access. Can manage all settings, members, domains, and billing. Can transfer ownership. |
| Admin | Can manage members, update company settings, verify domains, and approve join requests. Cannot transfer ownership or delete the workspace. |
| Member | Can create projects, manage tasks, and use AI features. Cannot modify company settings or manage other members. |
Domain-Based Joining
IntuitivePM supports automatic company association based on email domains. When a new user registers with an email that matches your company’s verified domain, they can either join automatically or request to join (depending on your settings).
Domain Settings
Configure how new users with matching email domains join your workspace:
- Navigate to Settings > Company > Domains.
- Configure the following options:
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| Allow Domain Join | When enabled, users with a matching verified email domain can join or request to join your workspace. |
| Require Approval | When enabled, new users with matching domains must be approved by an admin before joining. When disabled, they join automatically. |
Adding and Verifying Domains
To associate a domain with your company:
- Navigate to Settings > Company > Domains.
- Click Add Domain and enter your domain (e.g.,
acme.com). - Follow the DNS verification instructions. You will need to add a TXT record to your domain’s DNS settings.
- Click Verify to check the DNS record.
Once verified, users who register with an email address on that domain will see your company as an option during registration.
Note: Public email domains (Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook, etc.) cannot be used for domain-based joining. Users must register with a corporate email address.
Managing Join Requests
When Require Approval is enabled, admins can review pending join requests:
- Navigate to Settings > Company > Join Requests.
- Review each request. You can see the user’s name, email, and any message they included.
- Click Approve to add the user to your workspace, or Reject with an optional reason.
Setting a Primary Domain
If your company has multiple verified domains, set one as primary. The primary domain is used as the default for display purposes and new user matching:
- Navigate to Settings > Company > Domains.
- Click Set Primary next to the domain you want as your default.
Demo Data
New workspaces can generate demo data to explore IntuitivePM’s features before setting up real projects:
- Navigate to Settings > Company > General.
- Click Generate Demo Data.
- IntuitivePM creates a sample project with 20 demo tasks, 6 labels, sample assignees, hours, and due dates.
Demo data is generated once per workspace. You can delete the demo project at any time.
Default Company
If you belong to multiple workspaces, you can set one as your default. The default company loads automatically when you log in:
- Navigate to Settings > Company.
- Click Set as Default next to the workspace you want as your default.
